I’ve noted before how I have so little time these days for one of my great loves– reading for pleasure. Science fiction is one of the genres I wish I had more time for, the good stuff, I mean. Longtime readers know I have an affinity for the works of guys like Heinlein, Niven, Pournelle, Lem, Clarke, Asimov, Herbert

Time was I’d hoped to try my hand at fleshing out a few ideas of my own, but again, it was never a burning priority enough for me to really devote myself to the task, which is what’s required to do it right. So I’m looking forward to making time for this freedom-themed work by colleague James Russell Bailey, who did devote himself.

Now that I’ve bought a Kindle copy I’ll have some bedtime reading– and Sweetie is flying out to visit her sister in a few days so I won’t even need to pull the covers over my head to keep the light from disturbing her.

  1. Thank you David for your wonderful kindness in helping me promote my book!

It’s hard slogging, but it’s worth it……even if only a few folks like it, that’s ok….I write because I love writing, if some folks enjoy what I write, then that too makes me smile!

    Thank you again!

PS. Has Joe B. found the missing Congresswoman as yet?
