It will be worth watching.
The comments there note that their gun control advocates are math impaired also. 15.8 guns / 100,000 in the article, when the number of guns / population looks more like 15.9 / 1000.
But their gun laws look worse than New Jerseys’, and more corrupt, if that is possible.
Who is team Brandon backing with our tax serf bucks? One, the other, both?
I’m no expert in Spanish, but near as I can tell using Google Translate and checking other sources for accuracy and regional/dialectical differences:
“Joder y averiguar” is probably what you’re looking for. Of these possibilities, it seems to be the more general Central/South American version, and of the three is the actual swear-word; the others are slang words, but not profane.
“Follar y averiguar” also works, but “follar” is used primarily in Spain and (to a lesser extent) Cuba.
“Chingando y averiguar” is more distinctly Mexican, and also a more versatile not-quite-swear word (“chingadera” is an annoyance or nuisance, “chingón” can refer to an impressive person or a very large quantity [think, “f*ck ton”] of something — among other uses).
It would be nice if we could get an expert to weigh in, though, like what happened with “cum ulla sella….”
I looked up the Guyana Defence Force and it is quite unimpressive, both in numbers and equipment. Further, Guyana appears not to be a member of any mutual defense treaty organizations. I think if anyone resists the Venezuelan Marxist invasion it will have to be those armed citizens. And we all know what happens under international ‘law’ when those civilians are captured: shot without trial as “franc-tireurs” – just ask the Belgians on that point.
Privately owned firearms numbers are unimpressive as well. So whoever wrote that letter to the editor is a hysteric.
Well, no surprise that predators pick weak prey…
