The whole fam damily has been fighting some kind of cold/upper respiratory bug (not Covid), and after several days of low-grade discomfort it’s made it’s way to me in full.
I’m going to knock it off and take it easy. I may be back tomorrow, I may not.
I’m on easy chair and tea duty until further notice. Please hold off on tips and comments.
Here’s hoping whatever you’ve got is mild and that you recover quickly.
Best wishes.
We’ve been fighting the Winter Crud, and now it looks as if I and my granddaughter may have chickenpox.
Great. Just, great.
Why does colder Winter weather seem to always bring physical sickness upon us while the mental illness of progressivism is 60/60/24/7/52? Get better soon ya’ll and remember the good news of a bug’s effects reminds one how very nice one feels when all is well.
Get better soon, David! Best wishes.
Bad news: My wife tested positive a few weeks ago after a spate of fever, chills, and general virusy aches. She wanted antivirals but at CVS her “white coat syndrome” kicked in, her blood pressure spiked, the nurse practitioner freaked and she took a ride to the ER in the little red truck.
Good news: The ER doctor didn’t even break a sweat, monitored her for a bit, and sent us home. The doctor said with the current COVID test, she see’s no false positives, but lots of false negatives. IOW, if the test says you got it, you got it. But if the test says you don’t, you still might. She also said that she hasn’t admitted anyone strictly for COVID in over a year. The current strains are a dud compared to the original.
Rest up and get better, David.

Ah, I see you’re still down with the crud even after a couple of days. Take as much time as you need until you feel better, the world will still be here.
There’s a real nasty flu making the rounds through NW Wyoming…two households of our neighbors have got it. Fever, coughing, aching joints and profound fatigue seem to be the major components. Takes a little over a week (8 to 9 days) to get past the worst of it.
We’ll all cross our fingers and hope you have a speedy bout of wellness soon.
