Here I thought that if anyone died during the commission of a crime all the perps involved could be charged. Crime scene getaway isn’t a crime in CA?

She is a Soros DA. There was a killing of a young adult female in East CCC that got a lot of press. The alleged perp was her boy friend. He was on the lam for some time. He was eventually arrested in El Dorado County. The investigation found evidence that his mother aided & abetted her son after the homicide. The DA chose not to charge the mother. Her aiding & abetting included: destroying evidence & aiding son in evading arrest. The DA sand bagged the public by ignoring requests by the victims parents to meet as well as ignoring the media. The parents & their many supporters in the community organized. They kept pressure on the media to follow the case & called out the DA. They had regular rallies at the parents home. The pressure got too much for the DA to ignore. She tried to meet with the parents; however, they refused. Eventually she shows up at one of the rallies & the parents agreed to talk with the news media (print, radio & TV) present. I heard the story from my son who lives in East CCC.
