  1. This being Massachusetts, the charge of possession of a firearm without a valid Firearm Owner ID card tells me that the firearm was not a pistol or revolver. Those firearms require a Massachusetts issued License to Carry Firearms which costs more, requires more hoops to jump through and are not available to juveniles. But then again, the same could be said about driver’s licenses.
