An Offensive Gun Use

Colorado teen shot in the face after trying to ask for permission to take photos at property, police say [More]

I suppose you could fault the teen for jumping the fence, which admittedly was not a smart thing to do, but check out the area on street view — if they wanted to make contact they didn’t have a lot of options and it’s not like it’s posted “No Trespassing.”

In any case, shooting him was unwarranted, cowardly, idiotic, and negligent to boot. That kid could end up taking all the photos he wants from his new property.

  1. I was thinking the same thing. The kid could wind up owning the place.

I tried looking up the area where the house was. I found the road, but didn’t spend any time trying to find the house. I did find the town where the guy is on the council. It’s literally a few blocks long by a few blocks wide.
