I’ve read that NYC’s Sullivan Law was motivated by immigrant shop owners’ habit of shooting the thugs collecting “protection” fees. A portion of those fees went to fund the city’s corrupt administration.
Now, imagine for a moment, if America’s gun owners took a leaf from those shopkeepers and started making life more hazardous for street thugs, Antifa “mostly peaceful” protesters, and so forth. Could we create an environment where prison was seen as a “safe space” for people who can’t be trusted on the streets without a custodian?
Now THAT would be kewl!
