Clear Enough?

Lying leftist motherf***er says that’s “ambiguous.”

Elias Alias deconstructs more of his moronic and deceptive foolishness in Oath Keepers: Targeted Red. I finished it and need to find time to write a review.

I recommend people buy it. I’ll explain why in my review.

  1. Make sure you mention that you didn’t say those things. The NRA didn’t say those things. The Oath Keepers didn’t say those things.

Those things come directly from SCOTUS’ decision in US v Cruikshank.

  2. I think his objection is that saying “the list of natural rights is not up for debate” but declining to publish such a list makes your demands ambiguous. Canada says food, lodging, and medical care are “rights.” How is someone to know that they’re not on your list?

    1. Jefferson made a list in the Declaration of Independence but prefaced it with “among these.”

So the list he made was not an enumeration, i.e not an exhaustive list. The equivalent would be something like “Among the colors of the rainbow are red and yellow.” One of the arguments presented for not including what became The Bill of Rights was that by the simple act of making a list, some might conclude that anything not on the list was not a natural right.

Obviously, we’re still having that discussion today.
