Now, the question is why? Plenty of gun companies have a page for “the only ones”, but those are typically companies like FN and Daniel Defense and others which offer select fire AR15 variants and in FN’s case, belt fed machine guns as well. But why Glock? They only make pistols. Pistols aren’t NFA or Hughes Act regulated (infringed). [More]
Because they’re suck-ups that will never pull a Barrett.
“The industry” has proven time and again what they’re interested in is their bottom line, from NSSF’s “partnership” with ATF, to the Rose Garden sellout, to Bill Ruger’s throwing other semi-autos under the bus.
Seems everyone and his brother gets to throw citizens and rights under the bus. When do we get our turn to run their sorry a##es over?
Never mind, I think the answer is something like “not in your lifetime serf”.
(Though I do not patronize these sleazeballs)
Thanks for the links. The one on Bill Ruger was especially interesting, I was only a baby when the “assault weapons” ban was signed. Nearly all of that was news to me.
All this makes me wonder, if there’s any pro 2A gun/ammo companies? It seems each one has caved and sucked up at some point, or in some cases, as with the Rose Garden link and Glock, started sucking up and never stopped.
As for the NSSF, look who runs it… https://www.nssf.org/about-us/nssf-board-of-governors/
Sad.
I do see one who is worthy.
