Life Under Custodians

Registered sex offender facing charges after stolen firearm, Nazi materials allegedly found in his possession [More]

I didn’t see anything abut a warrant. Can they normally search homes as part of the routine, or did he do something that let them?

  1. He might live in the “fourth amendment-free zone” that surrounds the Boston Marathon route.

“A copy of “Mein Kampf” by Hitler … also found in that bedroom”
Oh oh. I need to find better hiding places for my copies of “Mein Kampf,” “Communist Manifesto,” “Unintended Consequences,” “Black Arrow, A Tale of The Resistance,” “Common Sense,” and the “Declaration of Independence.”

    1. I wasn’t clear– I was asking are there special conditions for sex offenders they allow to stay in their homes instead of being incarcerated/was he on probation/etc.?

      1. It’s implied he was convicted on sex offender charge(s) and was on some form of parole, which allows parole officers and police officers to search his domicile without warrant. In some instances the police, on making initial contact with a parolee, will call his parole officer to inform him of the circumstances and the PO will tell them to search the place, on extension of his authority. This is part of the life of a parolee.

  2. “… Nazi materials allegedly found in his possession …”

Does a “byf” Luger count as Nazi material?

Just asking for a friend. 😉
