  1. I have been receiving emails from Academia for years. I actually do have an academic paper, and five patents besides (which they don’t cover.) Never subscribed to Academia, as I figured they are a scam. They just want to sell subscriptions. According to them, I am an author of papers on archeology, marine biology, astrophysics, and a dozen other disparate subjects. Heck, I must be a Renaissance Man rather than just a retired chemist.
