If you were paying attention, and monitoring the traffic on certain websites prior to the 2016 election, as many of us were, you couldn’t help but feel the tension as of a spring being wound, being radiated by those preparing to do “something” if Hillary won.
But she didn’t, and you could almost hear and feel the tension on that spring slowly backing off, as those folks postponed whatever it was they were intending to do, and decided to wait and observe as events unfolded.
But a lot has happened since then, some good and some bad. I’m going to guess that I may not be the only one who isn’t surprised by potential political violence becoming real action by various “low hanging fruit” and “lone wolf actors.” Rather, maybe we should be surprised that we haven’t seen more of it, and by folks like the “100 Heads Life Insurance Company” that were trained and capable of doing so much more than we have seen so far.
