It’s flat our ign’ant for any conservative to mount any appeal on GoFundMe, just as it is for a conservative website to depend on liberal infrastructure like Amazon Web Services, Google Play Store, and Chase Bank. Didn’t the Parler debacle teach us anything?
There’s a perfectly good alternative — GiveSendGo — that doesn’t play political games and operates from principle. Since GFM screwed over Kyle Rittenhouse, I have only violated my personal boycott of them in one instance — that of Sakir Everett — and later developments made me sorry I did. I’ve committed not to violate it again. However, if these folks would like to erect a parallel fundraiser on GSG, I will happily contribute.
