Nope, the 1960 Austin Healey is long gone, and the skinny kid is now a memory I mostly don’t want to remind people of, but I have important business in Dayton tomorrow which is a 3+ hour trip one way. That means no blog unless AmmoLand publishes my latest, in which case I’ll post when I return in the evening.
Comments will have to wait and I won’t be able to get to news tips, so do yourself a favor and don’t bother. Since I’ll be backed up on Friday with article stuff, save yourself the trouble or understand if you don’t see it show up here.
How cool and maybe even valuable to have that car now.
If I still had it in the condition it was in, probably 50K. I bought it in ’77 for 3.
Nice car. Looks like a 3000. Mine was a 100-4. Roughly the same car but with a different grill shape, a “windscreen” that could be unlocked and folded down flat against the “bonnet”, and 4 cylinder instead of a 6.
I learned to hate the SU slide valve carburetors.
Yes, 6, 2912 cc.
