How do they vote?
Far too many simply don’t, and while I don’t have the numbers to back it up, my firm belief is that gun owners who don’t vote — at all — are a bigger obstacle than gun owners who vote against their rights.
Apathy will destroy us faster than opposition.
How many gun owners are there in the United States?
How many “assault weapons” are there in Illinois?
How many Jews lived in wartime Germany?
We’ll never know the answers to any of those, and for similar reasons. Because the people most closely associated with the correct answers weren’t prone to talking about it.
Any published numbers are no more that an estimate. Publishing charts of those estimates with numbers refined to the nth degree is like Pete Townsend trying to get a suntan.
