The Eye of the Beholder

Arkansas public school students will soon be required to take gun safety courses [More]

“Gun safety” as in Youth for National Security or “gun safety” as in Everytown for Gun Safety?

A potential “live fire” option sounds promising, but will it be with more than a single-shot .22 and will it be high school before it’s declared “age appropriate” (I always preferred “development appropriate,” that focuses on the individual instead of the collective) ?

And I wonder how many Democrat parents will go ballistic…

  1. My northeast hs, 60s era, formed up a rifle team.

One of the colleges I attended (also northeast), tried to form up a rifle team but found insufficient interest.

I’d guess that in general the northeast region shows little interest in effective gun use these days…but for big bucks shotguns for shooting clays.

Should I have grand-spawn, they’ll be properly instructed no matter what bs their schools toss at them.

Anticipate this AR plan to devolve to nothing.
