I’m cynical by nature, but yes, that GOA host was a total cheer leader for Trump. So much so it became hard to watch.
Has Trump done good things on 2A? Yes, the stuff listed in the video is good. But is it earth shattering? No. Like you point our, arguing that machine guns should be banned? Yeah, total pro 2A /sarc.
And what about Bondi and Driscoll or whoever’s in charge of the ATF today, destroying the national gun registry? Hasn’t happened.
Has the GOP repealed the NFA/GCA/Hughes/Brady-NICS? No.

And putting a woman in as US AG who was, when Florida AG as rabid an anti gun nut as John Cornyn and Rick Scott, to put in not only as US AG but as head of the Second Amendment Task Farce?…

If in the mid terms my choice is a pea brained elephant or a jackass, I’m writing in “John Wayne”.

I forgot to mention, did anyone notice in the video, at 7:16, the Twitter post of a GI firing a M240 machine gun prone? The tag’s were “Full auto” and “Suppressor” and “50cal”.
The M240’s definitely full auto. The picture was cropped, don’t know if it had a suppressor, but the M240 is chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO… NOT the .50caliber Browning cartridge.

Why is the Trump administration celebrating machine guns, when their own DoJ lawyers are fighting against civilian machine gun ownership? If Trump likes machine guns, why doesn’t he direct the GOP to repeal the Hughes Amendment and the NFA? Then machine guns are legal, and without needing to pay a ransom as well as suppressors?

And if you’re going to tag a photo as “50cal”, make the gun a Browning M2…

I maintained a WogRoll at the old Blogspot place predicated on reciprocity with like-minded RKBA-related sites. Truth be told, I never got much in terms of site visits to make the effort worth the time. I may try to do something again in the future, but for now, my hands are more than full trying to get a new site started.

I have had a few ads on the old site in the past and may do so again if I think it’s worth a try. Combined, I probably couldn’t buy a box of good cigars each year, let alone a bottle of George T. Stagg, and that is somehow supposed to compromise my morality to force me to say nice things about products and services I don’t mean simply in exchange for filthy lucre. Bottom line, aside from welcoming a sponsor, I will do no posts related to their products or services, or reviews of what they offer without complete disclosure.

About “The Only Ones”

So named from a comment by DEA agent Lee Paige, who told a classroom full of kids he was “the only one” qualified to be armed and then promptly shot himself in the foot, the purpose of this feature has never been to bash cops. The only reason I do this is to amass a credible body of evidence to present when those who would deny our right to keep and bear arms use the argument that only government enforcers are professional and trained enough to do so safely and responsibly. And it’s also used to illustrate when those of official status, rank, or privilege, both in law enforcement and in some other government position, get special breaks not available to we commoners, particularly (but not exclusively) when they’re involved in gun-related incidents.
