The Commission should support this effort by rooting out and helping to remedy any activities by the Biden-era FTC that may have improperly aligned the agency with anti-Second Amendment non-governmental organizations (“NGOs”) or otherwise infringed upon Second Amendment rights. [More]
I’m all over Larry Keane and NSSF when they suck up to tyranny, so I gotta give them credit when they do good.
The FTC commissioners are all Republicans, so there’s no excuse for them not taking a leadership position in protecting firearms commerce.
So why haven’t they already declared new policy? Why do they have to be publicly prodded?

UPDATE
By all means, educate me on their leadership:
It shouldn’t be this hard to find.
I’ve asked everyone, Trump, Vance, Bondi, Dhillon, and every 2A group on X, “Where is the 2nd Amendment Task Force? And why is there no reps from 2A groups on it?”
No one can answer me, not even a 2A group.
It looks like no one wants serious 2A progress, not even the 2A groups. And that’s why Trump/GOP needs public prodding.
Public prodding and when that fails effective public paddling.
It looks like no one wants serious 2A progress, not even the 2A groups.
That’s been a gripe against the NRA for years, if not decades. Don’t seriously fight “gun control” proposals, and when they come in or pass into law, THEN vow to fight … and use them to write fundraising letters and emails to fight the bad laws they allowed to pass.
IOW, the groups fear their relevance would diminish if real 2A progress were to happen, so they don’t put too much effort into it. (Certain individuals in the 2A groups do, but the groups as a whole don’t.) They’d rather fight a war of attrition after-the-fact — and bring in heaps of donations and membership dues — than play a proactive defense, and Heaven forbid they go on the offensive and actually expand 2A recognition!
