Nothing new. How long has Ron Wyden maintained a residence in New York State, while representing Oregon in the U.S. Senate? (He also has an apartment in Washington, D.C., but I’ll let that slide since he IS a Senator and spends significant time there.)
But you know if a Republican tried it, the Dems would cry foul and demand retribution. They made a big deal about Trump having multiple residences — primarily New York and Florida — even though as President he represented the whole country.
