What’s in a Name?

Routh was charged with possession of a fully automatic machine gun, referred to in court filings as a weapon of mass destruction. [More]

Referred to in court documents by whom, and what are their affiliations and agenda…?

And does that make a Glock switch in a semiauto an IED?

Hey, if you’re going to have a “weapon of war,” you may as well go big. Especially if you’re already “on their radar.”

  1. Maybe I don’t understand the implication of your question. It seemed pretty clear that they were referred to by a DA in North Carolina who made the original charges.

    1. Who is the DA who ridiculously and pointedly framed a machinegun, an “arm” of the Second Amendment as a WMD, and what are his affiliations and agenda? What’s his name? What’s his party? Who is he beholden to? What other citizen disarmament edicts does he demand? Etc.

      1. Ah. I understand. It’s not clear the DA had a choice. The state laws define an automatic weapon as a WMD. It’s here, in paragraph (c)(3).
