“I don’t want that at home, I don’t even know how to shoot,” said the Houston, Texas, retiree before handing them over to the authorities… “There is really no other safe way than this to part with it,” said the 60-year-old… “We have to get rid of them,” the 69-year-old man said, handing over seven weapons. Voice of America?
How do you know any of that actually even happened?
It happened and is becoming a standing event (dogs & ponies included) in Houston/Harris County. Each succeeding deal brings in more evil guns, wastes more $$, publicizes politicos and politically inclined police officials, and does nada about the professed intent of getting guns off the streets and ending so-called “gun crime”. For this go round no ‘printed’ guns were to have been bought.
Wonder how many ‘gun crimes’ the quoted idiots committed before turning in their evil possessions?
Didn’t know we had ‘specialized’ police to determine if a gun is ‘loaded’…wow.
With powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.
And here’s the background story.
and “registered”?Did not know all guns had to be “registered”/
All the better toconfiscate them, my dear…….
well, da guv have mde selling such items very complicted and intimidating.
What thee dummies fail to realise is they can take them all to their friendly neghburhood FFL and ask HIM to sell them, taking a reasonable commission on each sale. They’d get FAR more money for them, and not be playing in to the current political meme of “mmm guns bad, destroy them all”.
