Tell me about the worst gun you’ve ever bought. I’m bored sitting in this dialysis chair [More]
As is no secret around here, I’m not a hardware guy (more of a bad pun guy) and have very few posts on guns per se as there are plenty with more qualified insights. I do wonder how many of the firearms being singled out would not have been included had they been used in a successful DGU.

I’m glad you are paying attention to Carl. He’s one of the good guys, and is having a hard time with kidney failure and dialysis.
I’ll bite.
My worst was an Erma Werke KGP-68A in 9mm Kurz (.380 ACP). Ironically, it is also one of my favorites but suffers from the fact that the frame is cast Zamak (an alloy of Zinc) and prone to cracking. Back in the 1970s I made the mistake of running part of a box of Super Vel .380 through it and broke the combination firing pin and ejector. As that is one of the more fragile arts of the gun, replacements were “unobtanium” until recently. But it almost makes up for its faults through cuteness.

These days its mostly like the old Indian’s rock candy in “Outlaw Josey Wales”: “Not for eatin’ Mostly for looking through.” and spends it’s time in the safe.
