Where does ATF get the statutory authority from to limit proliferation of forced reset triggers?… Where does ATF derive statutory authority to enforce its “Once a machine gun always a machine gun” rule? [More]

We know ATF has no such authority. But the system that promises “Clear answers. Official sources” resists fessing up.

  1. Here’s a retired “Microslop” engineer pulling back the curtain and revealing that “The Great and Powerful Oz” ain’t so great or powerful. Just capable of crunching a lot of basic math really really quickly. And sucking up enough power to light whole neighborhoods in the process. It’s still just the “puppy dog cycle” fetching and executing one instruction at a time.

    No “Deus Ex Machina” here!

  2. The punch line to an “older than dirt” IT Department joke goes “Two plus two? An interesting question! How much do you want it to be?”

Joe Stalin said he didn’t care so much about how votes were counted. To him, who was doing the counting was the only interesting thing.

Bottom line, if someone in the AI department at America.gov wants to put their thumb on the scale, the obfustication inherent in the whole LLM process will bury the truth, not in complexity, but in such mind numbing repetition of trivial detail that the truth will never be known unless an insider fesses up.

It must be true. The AI said so!

P.S. The correct answer is 42.
