There’s a special truth in here that can’t be emphasized enough, especially with the critics who say “Wait a generation and they’ll be Americanized”:
For the last two decades, the NRA and other groups have been lobbying as if the make-up of the American people has remained static since the 1950s. It hasn’t.
It’s not heritage American culture that will shape their worldviews. Vivek even goes so far as to declare, “The idea of a heritage American is about as loony as anything the woke left has actually put up.”
