I had two favs. Lion Country Safari’s signs said “Trespassers Will Be Eaten.” The Aviary in Homestead FL had signs with a picture of a Rottweiler and the caption “I can make it to the fence in under 5 seconds. Can you?”
I have read of the potential of an adverse outcome for such signs and other forms of free speech such as embellished firearms, but do not read of actual adverse outcomes. I would not support anyone in authority who does not honor free speech as they are unworthy of that support.
Signs that simply state “No Trespassing” or “Beware of Dog” (useful even if there is no dog on site) in multiple languages do work, but presume that those who see the signs are literate and capable of reason. That may not be so.
