Gun Deaths in the U.S. by Race, Age & Gender (2026) [More]

I don’t much like the “gun deaths” terminology. That said, we’ve discussed ways to frame the suicide problem and on how the numbers show the violence is not homogenously mixed in.

And not to sound heartless, but we also need to consider victims who victimized.

I’ve been working on a plan to reduce “gun suicides” that has a lot of factors and drawbacks I need to sift through and understand before I can even begin an outline, so it’s going to take a while. There’s only one of me and daily priorities keep me from devoting myself exclusively to it.

In the mean time, don’t let anyone get away with ignoring lives saved via DGUs.
