Based on expectations set by their “leadership,” that whole department sounds like a case study for sadists and moral defectives.

  1. DOJ really needs to be renamed. I suggest the name of an agency in a well-known country whose agents behaved similarly : People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs.

    The “US Attorney Bites Stripper” case was covered extensively in the local press. As it happened, the young lady in the story was a neighbor. When I asked her about the incident she said all she ever asked for was an apology. Instead, what she got was a press release from Coffey’s office stating that his office busted strip clubs, they didn’t frequent them. That’s when she and her husband made “a Federal case” out of it, and Coffey lost his job.
