Juvenile overreactions continue. The biggest bullies have always been “liberal” teachers and administrators.
It’s not like there are adult minds running the schools who would know how to rationally handle situations like this like a grown-up.

Did he really bite the sandwich into “the shape of a gun,” or did he just bite the corner off? I notice there are no photos of the alleged “gunwich,” so I feel that’s a valid question.
The “Pop-Tart Gun” kid from years ago bit some off the corner, and it looked to me more like the State of Idaho, which with some imagination I guess could be roughly “the shape of a gun.”
So are we punishing violent behavior, or are we punishing a six-year-old autistic boy for having an imagination?
And I have to ask: if it were a six-year-old autistic girl, would the administration freak-out be the same?
My 6 yr old son’s lapel pin, of a B2 Spirit bomber, was confiscated by his teacher because it “looked like a gun.”
