  1. Ahem. What is the date the treacherous Karl T Fredericks then NRA head butthead, testified before other criminals in support of the 1939 NFA stating “I don’t like the promiscuous toting of guns” “a license must be required to leave your house with a firearm” and other such genocidal gems?

    1. From KABA:

“As a matter of purely historical interest, Frederick’s testimony took place on April 18, 1934 — the exact same day Adolf Hitler named J von Ribbentrop as Germany’s ‘Ambassador for Disarmament.'”

  2. If I remember correctly the ‘Hughes amendment’ was passed on a disputed voice vote.

  3. Truth in advertising is a thing. Too bad it doesn’t apply to legislation. Imagine if the law required a piece of legislation to do what the title and abstract say it does.

Then we could even consider requirements that proposed legislation be “safe and effective.” Wouldn’t that be a hoot?
