Mistake their politeness for weakness and you might find they’re the descendants of folks like Ragnar Lothbruk, Harald Bluetooth, and Ivar the Boneless.
While two of the three men mentioned did appear in a popular TV show, Harald Fairhair (not Finehair) and Harald Bluetooth were probably not the same guy, their stories do not begin there.
The people we call Vikings as a rule did not read or write, and did not have a lot of regard for those who did or the histories they might have produced. As a result, much of what we know about them comes from stuff written about them by their victims, or at least the survivors of their raids. Yet there were plenty of those in places from Vinland to Moskova and Kiev and from Scotland to Egypt.
Yet to this day, it’s still not a good idea to mess with the Danes, Norwegians, or Swedes. Ragnar’s descendants still know how to make, and make good use, of a bearded axe and their history of civilization is not all that deep.
“One of the most effective ways to weaponize migration is by deliberately creating conditions that force people to flee.”
It’s worth asking the question of whether this is what is deliberately being done to Florida, Tennessee, and Texas by California, New York, and Oregon.

Sounds like we watch the same TV shows…
