  1. As to why there weren’t 100 let alone a few Edina gunowners in attendance, I think it’s due to a lack of local news. The company that owned most of the local papers for the suburbs is nearly toast, and relegated to a small, obscure website. And there’s really no other local news online, the sites are all focused on the state as a whole, and don’t report on city council matters.

    The lesson here is we’ve got to be our own reporters, watch the meetings online, or at least skim them. That way we can prepare for what’s coming, whether that’s attending, or writing emails/letters/calls, coordinating with others etc.
