If someone’s deemed too dangerous to be entrusted with their basic rights, via full due process, then they should be in prison or a mental institution. Plain and simple.
I agree, about kids and guns… Parent’s need to PARENT! Not Uncle Sam! If they fail, and something bad happens, then the parents much be held to account, as well as the child, depending on age.
My Dad tells me stories about how he’d always take his .22LR Sears JC Higgins semi auto rifle to school so he could hunt on his way home. He said in junior high he could keep it in his locker, and then in high school, the principal wanted all guns kept in the office, and kids gave them to the secretary, and she’d give them back when they left. No big deal…. Unless you were a squirrel or rabbit. And that was in the ’70s.
