   So they called it “Assault Rifle” because Adolph Hitler told them to call it “Assault Rifle”.

   One can only wonder what today’s hoplophobes would be trying to ban if Hitler had decided to name it “Schatzi.”

2. But of course, unbeknownst to this “person with cognitive disabilities,” a typical AR15 is NOT an “assault rifle” to begin with, since it cannot be switched to fire fully automatically.
