  1. My handgun is smart. It has a bio-electric connection to my eyes and ears which have direct connection to my brain ,arm muscles and trigger finger. Has never failed to aim and shoot at the right target.

  2. I know you’re talking “smart guns” here, but since you brought up the Nest thing:

If you have a net-enabled thermostat there;s a quick and easy way to disable Big Brother’s control over it; disable the wireless connection on the device. Just go into the menu on the device and turn off its wireless.
I was approached by Edison to allow it to control my t-stat for a “discount; this after raising my rates 60%. Uhhh… HELL NO. My gut tells me that there will come a time when “D’gubmeyent” will mandate net-enabled thermostats. If you do get one of these, keep your old-school thermostat. Push comes to shove, you can unplug the net-enabled unit and plug the old one back in.

Why the big push for “smart” guns, cars, and the like? Control. PERIOD. If The Man can disable your thermostat, what’s to keep him from doing the same with your gun and your mandated EV?…
