    1. Depends on who you ask.

      According to SCOTUS in Caetano, we’d need about 200,000 in circulation. If everyone with a consumer-grade 3D printer made ONE, we’d clear that easily in a week or so (only because there are a LOT of parts to that design and it will take time to print and assemble them).

      According to the anti-freedom crowd, 25-30 million (i.e. the estimated number of AR, AK, and similar rifles in circulation) still isn’t enough for “in common use”.
