File This Under ‘Looking Into’…

Evangelist Torben Søndergaard Came to US for Asylum, Now He’s Been Arrested, Accused of Gun Smuggling [More]

He says it’s a trumped-up setup.

I’m not seeing news accounts and ICE hasn’t done a release at this writing.

Neither has DHS, but I do see that miserable border subversive Mayorkas taking advantage of Highland Park to parrot “the epidemic of targeted gun violence” narrative.

  1. An asylum seeking Dane smuggling weapons from Mex to US?

Aside from the .gov narrative that rogue dealers here are supplying the cartels there one might wonder what kind of weapons made/available in Mex are desirable here?

Let’s get to the rest of the story.

  2. the whole myth of US arms going to stock up the mexican cartels was a false construct to “justify” banning certain types of arms, and demonising the US retail gun market, blaming us for all the cartel mayhem south of the line. Once the cartels got better established, and the pipeline of military/government guns was not carrying enough volume, they began to import from other sources. I’ve read of simliar situationi in Australie, ahwere container loads of weapons are being smuggled in to outback ports then shifted to their destinations. Would not suprise me of some of those were destined for Mexico, too. I know Argentina, Isreal, and many of the arab groups are producing arms of various sorts. If Mexico can being in coke and fent and opium freely (to redistribute north of what laughingly passes for our “border”) it would be quite silly to think they cannot/are not doing the same with weapons. Fast and Furiius was, by comparison, an amateur sandbox operation for politilcal effect. Now they seem to be serious. And once in Mexico, not much is in place to prevent it all oozing north of the Rio Grande. So it does. Or maybe I would be more accurate to say flooding.
