Why am I now see ads in Host Gator when I'm in the publishing tool that make me click "No Thanks" before I can process posts? Why am I seeing ads going from page to page on my own website? This is all new, I was never advised, and I certainly don't get any revenues for my work. pic.twitter.com/nlssC6JnEt

No ads seen. Ublock origin works well.
No ads showing up to your readers. Is it possible your PC/browser itself picked up an adware “extension?” Free Malwarebytes is usually very good at 86ing those.
Ran Malwarebytes and it didn’t detect anything. All my Chrome privacy settings to disallow pop-ups and diversions were set properly. Deleted cache. Then I went in and removed some extensions I don’t recall using/depending on and it’s been running OK for the past two hours so hopefully that did it.
On the screenshot, this is NOT one of your website’s pages. It’s an administration page for your WordPress web applicaiton.
This is very different from your website itself, which is a bunch pf pages dynamically built from the data in your database by the WordPress’ code behind the scenes before being returned to the client (i.e., your reader’s browser).
According to https://hostingchecker.com , your site is hosted by Unified Layer.
I bet that the ad comes from Unified Layer and is visible to you only.
Ah, I see.
The Unified Later company that I mentioned in my previous reply provides the infrastructure to several brands, including your HostGator: https://websitehosting.com/providers/unified-layer
In other words, the ad you see is served to you (not to me or any other of your readers) by your host – HostGator.
The same ad may or may not be served to your readers. Not enough informaiton to know for sure.
Funny thing is I’ve never seen an ad there before. Anyway got rid of some extensions and it now appears OK (knock on wood).
