Seeing as how the people who made the gas station a “crime hub” will still be around, don’t expect their behaviors to change. Or is the assumption they’ll just do it someplace else?

If it is, actually, an “incubator of crime,” then there’s justification for the city or county to buy it, bulldoze the structure, remove the tanks and concrete, ring it with Dragon’s Teeth, put up some floodlights and fill the center with razor wire. Civic improvement budget, doncha kno.
Anything less than that and it’s just “gummint blowing smoke.” Again…..
