Oh, and here I was, thinking they backed off demanding ICE body-cams because — just like what happened after they demanded (and got) police body-cams — it would exonerate the vast number of ICE agents accused of wrongdoing, by showing us what they saw and responded to, from their own point of view, including what the “victim” was really doing leading up to the incident.
Then again, those two reasons are not mutually exclusive; it could be both. Embrace the unifying power of “and”.
Can’t wait for the next flipflop from the Democratic Congressional Calvinball Caucus.
