Current technology simply says this can’t happen for anything but the smallest pieces of junk. We simply can’t produce and direct enough power to do this..even over short distances. Punching that much energy hundreds of miles through the atmosphere to where the space junk is simply is not possible at this point in time. In a century? Perhaps. Wonder if this is a typical science con job to
get tax dollars with no intention of producing actual results.
