We’ve seen anti-stab knives. Now it looks like the UK will have to come up with anti-club bottles.
I can recall seeing decades ago marketing materials from a manufacture of polycarbonate based plastics and a sample of a polycarbonate beer mug that was break resistant (intentional and unintentional) and not readily convertible to an edged weapon or club like a heavy glass beer mug. While polycarbonate is commonly used for beer pitchers and for other beverages it does not have the appeal that a frosted glass beer mug does.
