My Kind of Razzmatazz

Got that? No more traffic stops in Chicago. This is insane — a demand to end enforcement of traffic laws, because Dexter Reed got killed after he shot first in a confrontation with five police officers. Do these people think it’s irrelevant that Reed shot first? Do they care nothing about the facts that (a) Reed was packing a 9mm pistol despite (b) being out on pre-trial release for a 2023 weapons charge, and (c) this shooting happened in one of Chicago’s most violent neighborhoods? Yes, of course they’re members.

Forget it, Jake. It’s Chi-Town.

  1. Traffic stops?

    Oh, yeah! Traffic stops!

We used to have those in Miami-Dade County back when it was still Dade County.

Haven’t seen one in years. You see, everyone here is from someplace else. And they all drive the way they learned to drive back home, you know, the way God intended. That is, the ones who learned to drive back home. And their “back home” rules are all different. Makes rush hour kinda “different”, know what I mean?

Essentially, all of the police departments have given up. Years ago I asked my younger brother, a Hialeah Police sergeant, “When are you going to straighten these refugees out?” He responded, “We do, but then they let in a new batch!”
