She is also completely false in her argument. The founders in-fact could and did envision a time when weapons beyond their imagination were around… that’s why the used the term ‘arms’ to enshrine man’s right to use all available means to self defense. They didn’t say “muskets and bayonet’s”, as these people would leave you to believe their intent was. They deliberately chose an all encompassing term to ensure all manner of weapons are protected. Not firearms, not blades, not tanks and airplanes (which were invented well after the founding fathers were dead). Those too, are forms of armament, or arms for short. Hence the deliberate choice of words in the 2nd Amendment.
Safety does not come from regulations. Never has. Never will.
