Subsequent updates from Hilton Corporate insist this is not a corporate policy, but a policy of the local franchisee, who is now an ex-franchisee; corporate is working with their area competitors to arrange FREE housing for ICE personnel. DHS may be well out over its skis by naming corporate as the target here.
In 15 years of traveling from Michigan to California for work. I had watched the Choice hotels brand, slowly being franchised. So many of them ran by barley English speaking management. No longer offering bacon,or sausage gravy and biscuits in the continental breakfast. Had a travel log, keeping notes on which hotels,in which states, I was willing to do business with.
