“It’s one thing to have a right to bear arms; it’s another to have legislation, like permit-less carry, that makes it easier for senseless acts of gun violence like this to be carried out in our state,” said Bazaldua. [More]
Curious. No one at NBCDFW seemed interested in asking him “How?”
Especially considering:
Entry to the fairgrounds is contingent on a security screening process. All guests will be screened for weapons either by a walk-through or hand-held detection device. Bags, purses, coolers, and similar containers will be searched to determine if any illegal, prohibited, or suspicious items are present that may pose a safety or security concern within the property.
I guess some don’t obey “gun control” edicts
Does that make Bazaldua a shameless, opportunistic blood-dancing liar?
Funny. This didn’t used to happen.

It is worth mentioning that those with Texas LTC, you can bring your gat to the fair. You just have to keep it concealed and there are some restrictions about where you can carry there.

You know, legal folks doing things the legal way.
Point of fact: Permit-less carry isn’t always the result of legislation; it’s just as likely to be the result of a lack of legislation.
Permit-less carry only requires legislation if there was prior legislation prohibiting it. IOW, if the state decides to stop regulating an individual right they shouldn’t have been regulating in the first place.
Either way, as is the common practice among gun-controllers, he’s attacking the wrong target. Again.
It’s not like shootings just don’t happen in “may-issue” (effectively NO-issue) California, New York, and New Jersey. I guess they just need more legislation?
Spent yesterday at the Arizona State fair to enjoy the achievements of the 4H kids and similar domestic/agricultural craftsmen and craftswomen. Was sent back to my car to disarm, first time ever — carry has always been permitted as long as I’ve lived here. My wife felt really comfortable around the roving gangs of tattooed gym rats.
