Right, reject every terrible sacrifice that made American unique and great, and return to the king. Funny, how an Opposite Day “progressive” wants to return to the system that was rejected two-and-a-half centuries ago.
There may be unintended consequences for her in this. I’ll do an article for next week to explain.
The New York Anti-Federalists had a great idea when they insisted on something like what became of our current Bill of Rights before they agreed to ratify the new constitution.
New Yorkers of those days may well have had another good idea when they began seizing Tories, allowing them to pack what they could carry, and loading them on ships heading to England whether they wanted to go or not.

Here’s some more “outside the box” thinking for the good State Senator:
18 U.S.C. §2383: “Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”
Acting as a State Legislator, and encouraging the withholding rightfully collected taxes and the secession of the State (and multiple other States) to a Foreign Government certainly seems like “rebellion” and/or “insurrection” to me…
