So, wait. The Vatican is promising stiff penalties for “illegal aliens” (are we allowed to call them that again?) that cross its border…
… but the Vatican’s leader, the Pope, says that nations — especially, but not exclusively, the U.S. — should welcome them and provide them everything they need?
“‘Illegal aliens’ for thee, not for me”?
Then again, the Catholic Church being a cesspool of hypocrisy is nothing new.
BTW, it’s Pontiff, not Pontifex. Pontifex is either an ancient Roman or a Majipoorian.
