Postgame Coverage

I, of course, did not watch Super Bowl LX, and in keeping with tradition didn’t even know who was playing until I accidentally ran across a headline the day before the game.

For all the complaints about Bad Bunny, someone else I’ve remained mercifully unaware of, and lyrics it turns out he omitted from nonetheless vulgar songs to the grinding of dancers who look nothing like the America that’s given them opportunities they could have never exploited anywhere else, and for the unAmerican antics of an Opposite Day “progressive” Patriot getting away with his subversion while wearing a team uniform and suffering no repercussions, just keep things in perspective:

The audience is mostly male, mostly white, and mostly prosperous.

In other words, the ones funding their would-be destroyers are the bourgeoisie.

Same as it ever was.

  1. The first quarter was like a lot of Superbowl games, it took a while for both teams to find their groove.

The second quarter had some good moments.

The first five minutes of the halftime show reminded me of why I had moved out of my hometown of Miami, FL after 76 years.

Frankly, I couldn’t find the OFF button fast enough.
