  1. Nowadays, any illusion of personal privacy is merely that.

    An illusion.

    Anything ever put on the web is permanent, if only on someone’s backup tapes.

    It is also accessible by a multitude of people you’ve never heard of of the “black hat” hacker persuasion. Some of them are even in countries you’ve never heard of as well. (news flash: not all hackers are evil)

    All of that playful “sexting” you did back in middle school?

    Heh! “All your bases are belong to us!”

    Feeling smug because you didn’t do any sexting back in the day?

    Are you in for a shock! That third grader down the block? She can create it for you from scratch!

    And if AI can create a realistic video of you shaking Fidel Castro’s hand (it can!), care to guess what else of his it can show you shaking?

    Now prove to the feds that those videos are not real!
