Never mind Trump losing the election, America’s next civil war has already started – this is how it will end [More]

So according to a frostback and a Limey, a con-con to rewrite our “obsolete” Constitution is the solution?

  1. Be careful with that crystal ball, Pal! Like the Palantiri of Tolkien’s “Middle Earth”, someone who doesn’t have your best interests at heart could be using it to show you things they want you to see.

There are quite a few books dealing with the topic of a third American civil war (counting that unpleasantness from 1775 through 1783 as the first). Many of the scenarios put forth have more credibility than the one mentioned above. “Unintended Consequences” by John Ross is good.

The “Enemies” trilogy by Matt Bracken is another told from the point of view of an actual war fighter, a former SEAL.

But my personal favorite never made into actual publication, due to the untimely death of the author. That would be “Absolved” by Mike Vanderboegh.
